To raise awareness and visibility of ICH and to strengthen the stakeholders’ capacity by developing and disseminating educational contents through video documentation

Projects and Activities

Asia-Pacific ICH Video Documentation: Southeast Asia (Group 2, 2018-2019)1.

Target

3 States in Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand)

Major Activities

  • Hold working-level meetings (once in each country)
  • Create video production teams and select target elements for shooting and editing (10 target elements in each country)

  • Asia Broadcasting Union (ABU) and Education Broadcasting System (EBS)
  • Ministries of culture and NATCOMs

Develop and Disseminate Promotional ICH Video Contents

Target

Outcomes of the ICH video production project in Central Asia (50 films)

Major Activities

Develop and disseminate multimedia contents for education and broadcasting in Central Asia (20 films)

Collaborators

Education Broadcasting System (EBS) and broadcasting companies in each Central Asia country
